Inspired by the renowned salons (discussions) of the Harlem Renaissance, the Fertile Ground Salon gathers Black same-gender-loving (SGL) individuals in Washington, DC, to participate in thoughtful conversations and cultural enrichment. We foster an environment of insightful dialogue and entertaining education, usually led by a knowledgeable expert, exploring wide-ranging themes such as the arts, sports, politics, mental wellness, and spirituality. Our goal is to spark growth through meaningful exchanges that inform, inspire, and entertain.
